Durant won´t play for Warriors against Trail Blazers in game two

20 Апрель 2017 03:06

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant will not play game two against the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference first-round playoff series, head coach Steve Kerr confirmed.

The Warriors are being cautious with their NBA All-Star forward after he strained his left calf during Sunday's opening 121-109 win.

"It's not worth it," Kerr told reporters at Oracle Arena ahead of Wednesday's clash. "Hopefully another few days rest will get it right."

During the regular season, Durant missed 19 games with a left knee injury.

He returned for the final three games of the regular season.

The Warriors won game one after Durant scored 32 points while also hauling in 10 rebounds.

Golden State also will play game two without Shaun Livingston (finger) and Matt Barnes (ankle).

"We're pretty thin," Kerr said.
